DOLE~WHIP

              My new after dinner snack -Pretty healthy &  low in calories too !!!!
                                    I came across this recipe on Pinterest....
                                                      I just had to make it !!!!!

                  Dole Whip is a soft serve frozen dessert available Walt Disney World!!!
                                               I'm going to try and replicate it ......






Ingredients:
1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored and chopped-1 cup=78 calories
(Quick step-I bought pineapple[on sale too! ] already cored )
1 cup almond milk- 30 calories (I used the brand by Silk)
1 tablespoon honey- 64 calories(I used local honey )

1 cup Dole Whip Treat = 172 calories

Directions:
                                                               One day in advanced .....
                                          After pineapple has been chopped into chunks , 
                                               place into the freezer for overnight....


                                              When your ready to enjoy a Dole Whip snack ....
                                                       Grab the frozen pineapple 
                                               and let it thaw out a bit about 5-8 minutes
                                               so the chunks seperate from each other .....
                                          Place the frozen pineapple chunks in a blender
                                                           Add the Almond milk


                                                                    I'm eyeballing 8 oz ...
                                                                     
                                                            Now add the honey ....
                             if you can buy local honey ...great for the Allergies !!!

                                                Again I'm eyeballing 1 tablespoon

                                                               Now blend until smooth....


You want it to be thick as well !
Not like a milkshake....
                                                             This looks soooo Yummy !
                                               Time to spoon into a dessert cup ....
                                          *For an authentic Dole Whip presentation, 
                                   transfer the frozen dessert to a large plastic bag,
                                         and cut off the tip to create a piping bag. 
                    Pipe the pineapple whip into a cup, and serve immediately!
